The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.

At the last National Council Meeting it was agreed to conduct a survey amongst members who are suffering from and of the following ailments:-
Bladder Cancer
Pleural Plaques
Asbestosis
It was previously believed that the FBU and Thompsons solicitors were maintaining records but this appears to be no longer the case
