The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.

OPERATION RESCUE – All is well for this wet and bedraggled corgi, rescued by Bristol firemen from the river mud by the Gaol Ferry, Bristol.
Three firemen took part and the picture shows Fireman Ivor Player who climbed down the rope, with some of the young onlookers making a fuss of the dog.
