The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.

Robert (Bob) Fraser passed away on Thursday 24th August 2017, aged 72 years.
Bob Served at Bridewell and Temple Fire Stations after retiring from operational service he took a job in Brigade Workshops as a handyman/fabricator. Bob was a Professional Fireman in all aspects and a great colleague.
His funeral was on Friday 22nd September at South Bristol Crematorium, Bedminster Down
