The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.

It is with much sadness that we have received notification of the death of Dave (Amer) Amesbury who passed away on the 7th February 2021, having bravely fought a battle with cancer. He retired in January 1999, having served at Avonmouth, Southmead and Temple. Dave was 67 years of age.
Funeral details not yet known. A letter of condolence will be sent to the family
