We have been informed of the sad passing of AF&RS Pensioner Bob Ampstead.
It was very unexpected as Bob went into hospital (Spire) for a knee op and was recovering from that and sadly suffered a heart attack whilst still in hospital on Friday 22nd April 2022.
Bob was a Leading Firefighter when he retired from WSM and also served at Temple and Avonmouth
