David (Dave) Bricker (service No. 579) passed away on 6th November 2023 aged 75 years.
Dave passed away at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. Dave joined the Avon Fire Brigade in July 1974 and served at Bedminster and Brislington Fire Stations retiring in 2008 after 34 years of exemplary service.
Dad continued working after retiring from the Fire Brigade for an events security firm, he worked at events such as Glastonbury, Castle Coombe race days and the Royal Bath and West Show among many others, he continued this work until October 2022 as he enjoyed being social and getting out and about. Dad was amazing, he was the most supportive, kind person and enjoyed a laugh and spending time with his family and friends. Dad will be missed greatly, he leaves behind his wife Julie, daughters Laura and Claire, 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service was held at Haycombe Crematorium, 209 Whiteway Road, Bath BS2 2RQ, on Tuesday 12th December 2023.
