Nick Sheppard passed away on 21st November 2023. He served at Southmead (Red Watch) Kingswood (Blue Watch) and Bath (Red Watch). retiring in 2013/2014?
From a former colleague: – It is with deep sadness that I share the news of Nick’s passing. He was a dear friend and passed away in hospital on Tuesday following a medical emergency. Nick started his time with the service in 1997 (I think) at A2 Southmead Red watch where I worked with him. He then transferred to Bath Fire station for a few years before leaving the brigade. He kept working as a talented boat builder from his man shed in Saltford. He was a friend and we had some great time, both at work but also on the mountain bike’s trails.
Please keep his wife, his daughters and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time. He was 52.
I will post further details of his funeral as soon as I find out.
