We have been informed that former Firefighter J.B. Lough aged 79 years, passed away on Saturday 9th March. He served at Weston Fire station Green Watch.
When James left the Fire Brigade he went to live in Cyprus and was there for a few years where he opened a bar called the Cutty Sark, he then came back to England and joined the Police as a Warrants Officer. James loved to travel and went on loads of trips around the world enjoying cruising and trips to Australia. He retired from this job and moved back to Northern Cyprus where he enjoyed retirement for a few years with his wife Lynne.
He moved back to Nailsea a few years ago.
