The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.

Roger McKeown aged 79 years, passed away on the 2nd August 2024 after a long illness. He served at Avonmouth Fire Station from 1968 – 1998
Roger leaves a wife Suzanne and son Liam.
