Peter Michael Till was born 22nd May 1931 in Clevedon and sadly passed away on 15th March 2025.
Joined the RAF 8th September 1949 into the Royal Air Force Police. Reached the rank of Corporal and finally was discharged on the7th September 1954 having completed his full term of 5 years.
Married Lilian Till on the 23rd October 1954 – They Celebrated 70 years of a long and happy marriage last October 2024. He was a very qualified carpenter, making fruit bowls, barometers and many other items before moving on from Millcross when it closed to Munro Kitchens has a cabinet maker.
He was very passionate about the fire service as well as St. John ambulance due to always wanting to help others. He joined the fire service in 1961 and by 1991 retired having reached the rank of Station Officer at Clevedon Fire Station until his retirement.
Even in retirement he would always help others without hesitation.
He leaves his Wife – Lilian Till and 3 children, David, Carol & Raymond
