The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.

Having joined the County of Avon Fire Brigade in July 1974 and retiring in June 2006, Ian came back in a support role and finally retired July 2017.
