Trevor Osborne was born on 8th May 1933. He was the eldest of three sons and owing to his fathers early death took on the role of the family bread winner. Before joining the Somerset Fire Brigade Trevor was a plumber in his home town of Weston-Super-Mare and was well known and well liked by many people in the town. Trevor married a teacher and had two daughters. Trevor studied hard and passed the promotions exams sing to the rank of Station Officer and Weston Fire Station. He was a keen caravaner and was very proud of his personalised number plate JTO (John Trevor Osborne).
