It is with much sadness that we inform you of the death of former Bristol Fire Brigade and Temple Back Fireman Terry Garland who passed away on Tuesday 2nd December 2014.
Terry joined Bristol Fire Brigade around 1956, serving at Bridewell before transferring with amalgamation to Avon, where he remained as a Fireman until his retirement on 1st August 1982 after 26 years’ service.
All former colleagues and friends are welcome to join the family to pay their respects to Terry, who’s funeral service will be held at Westerleigh Crematorium on Monday 15th December at 2:30pm
Terry’s unexpected death comes just a month after his beloved wife Betty who passed away on 29th October this year and will be especially poignant as the family comes to terms with the loss of both their parents within such a short space of time.
