Edward Roy Spencer – 01.03.2015

It is with regret that I wish to inform you of the death of pensioner Edward Roy Spencer, known as Roy, who was 94 when he passed away.  After the serving in the RAF during the war, he joined the Fire Service in 1946/7, where he served until he retired when he was 55.  Roy was mainly stationed at Speedwell and later worked at Bridewell as a Fire Prevention Officer until he retired circa 1976.

The funeral is to be held on the 11th March at 1pm at South Bristol Crem and then afterwards at Dundry British Legion – all are welcome.

Roy’s wife Joan also sadly passed away last year.  A condolence letter will be sent to his son Alan Spencer.
