A few ‘old‘ Firemen gathered at the Cornubia P.H. on the 14th November 2017, formerly Avon Fire Brigade FBU, Strike H.Q.. to mark the 40th Anniversary of the first Firemen’s strike in the history of the British Fire Service.
The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.
