David John Dun (Born 2nd May 1940) passed peacefully away at home on the 5th October 2024 after a short illness
Dave was a local man, born in St.George Bristol, Dave moved from an office job and joined the Bristol Fire Brigade and worked for 30+ years in the job he loved. Prior to his retirement Dave worked as a Fire Safety officer based in Yate, retiring in May 1995. Dave spent his retirement renovating houses, enjoying time on his narrow boat and travelling in their motorhome with his beloved wife Jan. He will be sadly missed by his wife of over 30 years and all other family members. Dave was a kind, helpful, caring man who will be sorely missed by those that loved him.
