The Pensioners Association has a well established and dedicated team of Volunteers who serve with the Avon Welfare Support Group, regularly visiting colleagues at home or during their time in Hospital.

At the Annual General Meeting held at the BAWA club on Tuesday 6th May 2014, Ian Satherley was elected as Secretary, taking over from Alan Lawson, who announced his retirement at the previous Annual General Meeting in 2013.
Ian said “Alan would be a hard act to follow and would do his best to keep the Association running efficiently”.
