Melvin (Mel) Rogers aged 78 years, passed away on 24th October 2021.
Mel worked for Brecknel, Dolman & Rogers prior to joining the Bristol Fire Brigade in 1963, training at Speedwell Fire Station following which he was posted to Brislington,
later in his service he transferred to Temple Back and finally onto Patchway from where he retired in February 1992. Mel was a great team member, well like and a gentleman, he regularly played for the Brigade football team,
and up until his retirement was a member of the Brigade Skittle team.
His Funeral will take place at Westerleigh Crematorium (Westerleigh Road, Westerleigh, Bristol, BS37 8RF), in the Waterside Chapel, on Wednesday 17th November at 14.45, all welcome to attend.
He leaves a wife Christine Rogers.
