It is with great sadness that we have received notification of the death of AF&RS pensioner Alistair William (Bill) Beachgood, who passed away on the 15th July 2026 aged 74.
Bill joined the Fire Service in 1974 and throughout his career served at various stations and departments including Temple, WSM, BA training School, Bedminster, speedwell, back to C1 , Fire prevention and is last post was a Station Officer at Avonmouth before retiring in 2000.
Our thoughts are with Bill’s widow Mandy and family at this sad time.
The funeral service is on Tuesday 11th August at 11:30 to be held at Weston-super-Mare Crematorium followed by a reception at the nearby South Sands Hotel in Kewstoke.
